One observance in May is National Foster Care Month. Today, we recognize StepStone Family & Youth Services Executive Director (ED) Chris Eichman, who has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Fort Wayne, IN.
Chris won the StepStone Executive Director of the Year Award for 2024. He has held many roles within the organization and uses that experience to better support quality and growth. National Treatment Director Stacy Brindley says, 鈥淗e proactively implements new treatment strategies, attends innovative trainings, and ensures quality initiatives are modeled and practiced by staff.鈥�
Chris shows an eagerness and determination to further develop his capabilities as an ED. He is receptive to feedback and recommendations, prioritizing employees鈥� well-being. He has maintained high retention numbers for the operation and is often involved in recruitment or relationship-building within the community.
