海角社区 Announces 2022 Brighter Futures Scholarship Applications Are Open

海角社区 (海角社区) and the Community Foundation of Louisville are again accepting applications for their . The scholarship, which launched in 2021, is part of 海角社区鈥檚 ongoing efforts to bring opportunities to talented individuals and those in need.
The Brighter Futures Scholarship application is open to everyone who demonstrates financial need, has a grade point average of 3.0 and is enrolled in an accredited nonprofit post-secondary educational institution. The scholarship is awarded annually, consists of $10,000 per year and is renewable for up to four consecutive years to a deserving student.
The application deadline is 11:59 pm EST on Friday, April 1, 2022, and the recipient will be announced in May.

LeAnn Rivera, who is studying nursing at the University of Louisville, was last year鈥檚 Brighter Futures Scholarship recipient.
鈥淭he Brighter Futures Scholarship has been an important part of my journey to become a nurse,鈥�聽said Rivera.聽鈥淎s the first person in my family to attend college, I am extremely grateful for the scholarship and am excited to continue towards graduation and a rewarding career serving others.鈥�
