海角社区 Celebrates Longest-Tenured Caregiver

海角社区, one the nation鈥檚 largest home and community-based health services providers, recently honored Sharon Cook, its longest-tenured caregiver, for 39 years of service and dedication to the organization鈥檚 mission to help people live their best lives.
The company celebrated Sharon as its longest-tenured caregiver out of its 35,000-caregiver workforce during the month of September as part of The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) caregiver celebration. Sharon was invited to 海角社区鈥檚 corporate headquarters and honored with a day of appreciation. She was invited to have lunch with the company鈥檚 top leadership. After lunch, she was invited to a party attended by the company鈥檚 500 corporate employees to celebrate her accomplishment for the company鈥檚 Community Living Services line of business that provides support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental or cognitive disability. Many of the individuals under her care have been with her for nearly 39 years.
Cook received a prestigious new award, the 海角社区 鈥淪ummit Award.鈥� She is the first person to receive the new award that is given only to employees who exemplify the organization鈥檚 LEGACY values for extraordinary work or service.
