BHCOE Accreditation recognizes behavioral health providers that excel in clinical quality, staff qualifications, and consumer satisfaction, and that promote systems to support these areas. Performance is measured through a comprehensive audit, including interviews with clinical leadership, on-site observation, staff qualification reviews, and anonymous staff and consumer satisfaction surveys.
BHCOE Accreditation is the only accreditation specific to applied behavior analysis (ABA). It offers feedback on clinical best practices, staff satisfaction and turnover, and consumer protection. As an independent third party, BHCOE systematically measures and reports on quality criteria in the behavior analysis community using standardized methods, accrediting only agencies that meet these standards.
